Mission

The Durham PTA Council unites and builds capacity of all PTAs to work together to serve the educational needs of children in Durham, support the role of teachers and be a voice in partnership within the community.

2021 - 2022 Goals

  • Support all Durham PTAs, from start-up to Schools of Excellence

  • Empower and create opportunities for leadership and advocacy within Durham's minority communities

  • Build and expand the Durham Council of PTAs' presence in the community

Durham Council dues for local PTA Units are $30.00 per year. Please submit a check made payable to Durham Council of PTAs with a membership form by October 15. Thank you for supporting the work of the Durham Council of PTAs!
